Rated 4 out of 5 by Adreqi from Litterally plug n play I was looking for a midi keyboard that was not too big and not too expensive. I recommend it to anyone looking for a simple keyboard and studio budget, without controlling. Trying to use the touch sensitive option wont work though because the keys arent weighted so its point this to try to get tension and release with the keys.
The seller told me 2 years warranty info. If you buy this item, there may be rif delay with your order. If durability is a priority for what you are looking for go up in price, this is great for in-home stationary fun. Being a 49 keys controller I wouldn't call it exactly portable, but its also not huge and, compared to my LPK25, the two extra octaves are indeed quite useful to hear oey a bass line sounds against a melody, to quickly make and visualize really open chord structures or the full note range of an instrument or at least most of it.
Overall I really like the clean no-knobs look of it and its silver color.

This item doesn't belong on this page. This one could not be more simple. There are no programmable knobs or sliders that you can automate on keyy board. I have used other MIDI keyboards, and while this won't amaze anyone, certainly gets the job done and looks good doing it.
The only time I've ever read the manual was when I wanted to learn how to send the midi data to a channel different than one, and this is how you do it: This is a great keyboard controller for a home studio style setup.

M-Audio KeyRig 49 Keyboard
Feels like it should hold up for many years of rough use. It also has a pitch bend wheel that snaps back to center, which is useful for the more lively sounding synth lines. What I like about this product: The whole keyboard is quality looking and the keys has a great response to touch. I use it mainly for composition.
The volume fader is, it does its job, on the other hand the "Edit Mode", I do not rif what it is and my software can not use it for the reconnaire, so too bad, anyway I 'm doing very well without! Keys offer a great response, much snappier than my old MIDIman controller, yet not too firm.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from It's been eig disapointment the key rig software and control panel are not user friendly for this particular product Date published: The chosen one was this M-Audio KeyRig I was looking for something not to heavy on 449 pockets and not too heavy to move around the room, needed something legit to practice gig with, i love M-audio and wat they do with keyboards in general so when i saw this beauty up for sale i couldnt be more excited, great key reflex and ivory like feel, almost like a grand, wonderful product if your just getting familiar with things.

This isn't software related, as I've a friend with a professional keyboard that doesn't experience the same issues. But that's not all: And running quickly and more!
It actually took more time for me to setup the Keyrig software for this controller than it did setting tig up with Reason 4 which surprised me.
